Hello and welcome to Yoga Haven!

I am so happy that you landed on this page!!  Yoga is my LOVE, my DESIRE, my HEART!!  My hope is that what ever practice you choose to come to, either in person or virtual, that you find a space that is warm, inviting and accepting.  A space where you can come to practice, learn, and tune in to your body, spirit and mind.  Each of us is different and so are our practices. We learn differently, move differently and most certainly you will never be in the same place in your journey as someone else, and that’s the way it should be.  I practice kindness, grace and respect in my teachings, so be kind to yourself, allow yourself to be just as you are at any given moment, accepting where and how you are at that time.  Just as life is a journey, so is your practice.

PRACTICE WITH ME IN-PERSON

If you are looking to practice with me in person, I am currently teaching locally at Green Heart Awakening, located at 102 East Main Street in Pendleton, SC.  We are a NON-HEATED yoga space.  You will be greeted in this beautiful space with the same loving, kindness and grace that you find in the recorded practices here.  I truly believe that Yoga is not about touching your toes, it is completely about the journey of getting there and discovering who you truly are on the way there.   There is never any judgment, only acceptance, no matter where you are in your practice or your body.

Below is my schedule, a brief description of my classes and pricing:

Tuesdays, 6 – 7:15 p.m. – Flow & Restore:  A 75 minute active ALL level vinyasa-style class.  A grounding and energizing practice that includes fluid transitions from pose to pose by linking breath and movement.  This class includes Sun Salutations, Warrior series and standing postures, creating an opportunity to become stronger, more flexible and balanced.  Class will end with a restorative practice allowing for relaxation.  (A basic knowledge of yoga is helpful.)

Thursdays, 6 – 7 p.m. – Restorative Bliss: A 60-minute restorative yoga practice with the use of props, emphasis on breath, and active release of stress, anxiety and muscle tension in the body.  This practice is predominantly done lying on the floor with gentle lighting and meditative music. (No experience needed.)

PRIVATE SESSIONS:  One-on-one or GROUP sessions are AVAILABLE.  Please contact me for questions or more information.

COST: Classes are sold in packages, indicated below.

Drop-in Class – $18

4 Class Pack – $60/$15 per class (30 day expiration from date of purchase)

8 Class Pack – $96/$12 per class (60 day expiration from date of purchase)

Please know that I try and offer you the best services possible and provide quality offerings.  I do not offer refunds of classes purchased.  Non-use of services are not grounds for a refund.

On this page you will find pre-recorded practices that allow you to practice when you can or take with you anywhere you go.  The beauty of these videos is that you are able to go at your own pace, start, stop, replay, do whatever it is that you need to do and take your time.  ​Most importantly, know that by simply choosing to come to your mat, by simply choosing this practice for yourself, you are already practicing yoga.

I truly believe and teach that it is not all about the poses and how they look, it is about how you FEEL when you’re moving through them, feeling your own breath, letting go of expectations and just “being in the now.”  So, choose a practice and begin, NOW or when you’re ready.

Morning Glow

Rise and shine with a beautiful sun salutation practice to welcome the day.  This class will focus on a series of sun salutations and seated stretches as well as a strong awareness to breath.  A gentle moving  class to welcome the new day and get you moving.  Our practice ends with a mindful meditation practice.

Gentle Flow

sequence.  This class is perfect for beginners but works equally well for anyone looking for a gentle alternative to a stronger flow class.  You’ll always be given the opportunity to keep it mellow or make the poses more challenging with variations of the poses.  If you’ve never tried yoga this class is perfect for you and designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga.  

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa flow classes are the most popular style of yoga practice.  This  class will keep you moving with creative sequences linking sun salutations and standing postures and a strong focus on the power of breath awareness.  This class and its graceful dance will push you to the edge of your balance and flexibility and when you reach that sweet spot you begin to glide and float.  Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are ever exactly alike.

Restore & Adore

Unwind with passive, soothing, supported restorative poses to nourish the body and calm the mind.  Props support the body to help release tension and encourage the body’s own healing power. During the class you will be guided to mindfully and consciously notice thoughts and sensations in your body.  Students leave feeling nourished, well rested and refreshed. 

Beginner
